Fascinated by Mexican art, culture, and traditions, Julieta and Laura decided to start Lu’um Designs to share the beauty of Mexico and its people with the world. 

The mother–daughter duo curates each collection in search of unique products that are handmade and sustainably sourced in Mexico. They travel extensively to meet artisans whose work exemplifies their aesthetic, which focuses on pieces made from natural fibers. The result is a brand steeped in a unique collaboration between makers, designers, and customers that creates pieces that complement the modern woman.  

The name Lu’um comes from a Mayan word that means ―land, soil, earth.  The rich resources in Mexican soil inspire Lu'um Designs to source from natural fibers grown in the region's land.   Luum Designs is committed to creating quality, sustainable and fashion-forward accessories while promoting Mexican culture.
